OnePass Bridge is designed to enable startups, investors, and ecosystem enablers to connect and engage efficiently within OnePass ecosystem through the functionalities in Source/Radar and Connect. Source for investors and Radar for startups, combined with “Connect”, are powerful tools within OnePass Bridge that facilitate the discovery and connection process and empower users to efficiently discover and engage with companies that match their interests. With a robust search engine, you can filter companies using up to 14 different criteria—such as industry, location, funding stage, team size, traction, and more. These criteria can be combined to refine your search and quickly identify the most relevant matches.
Why Use Source or Radar?
Being proactive in your search for companies is essential to maximize your chances of finding the right match, whether you are a startup looking for investors or an investor seeking promising startups. Compared to creating a company profile and waiting patiently to be discovered, using Source or Radar allows you to:
- Take control of the timing to be discovered by the right companies.
- Define the companies you target because it’s not a matter of how many startups or investors you find and reach out to, but also about how relevant they are to your interests.
- Manage and organize your follow-up properly to ensure you don’t miss any opportunities.
Steps to Find Companies in OnePass Bridge
Use recommendations
- Refine your Company Profile: Ensure your company profile is complete and up-to-date and reflects accurately your interests. This helps OnePass Bridge recommend companies that match better your interests.
- Check the Recommendations: OnePass Bridge will suggest companies based on your profile and preferences. You will find these recommendations on your homepage, under the headline “Recommended for you”.
- **Actionate the Interesting Matches:**Browse the profiles of the recommended companies and take action on those that interest you as explained in steps 2 and 3 or using the “Connect” and the “Add to” buttons in each company profile.
- Provide Feedback: If you find a match that is relevant, use the “Like” icon to provide feedback to improve future recommendations.
Search for Matching Companies
- Navigate to Source or Radar: Go to the Companies headline in Source (if you are an investor) or to the Investors headline in Radar (if you are a startup) section in OnePass Bridge.
- Set up your Search Criteria: Use the filters to set up your search criteria based on your interests. You can combine up to 14 filtering criteria to segment your target companies, see the results list dinamically updated as you adjust your seach. Once the search is meeting your expectations, you can save it and revisit it for updates.
- Actionate the Interesting Matches: Click on the company names to view their profiles, which include detailed information about their business, team, and funding needs.take action on those that interest you as explained in steps 2 and 3 or using the “Connect” and the “Add to” buttons in each company profile.
Organize your Following Up
When you identify a company that interests you, you can take several actions to keep track of it:
- Add to Pipeline: you can add the company to your pipeline for further evaluation.
- Add to Watchlist: You can add the companies that match your profile to your watchlist for ongoing monitoring.
- Create Private Lists: If you are searching for companies in a different or more specific segment that the one in your profile, organize items into specific private lists for easier management and follow-up.
- Create Public Lists: Share your lists with other users to collaborate on sourcing and discovery.
Connect with Matching Companies
An invitation to connect will be sent to the company you are interested in when you click the “Connect” button in the company profile. The company will receive a notification and can choose to accept or decline your invitation. If they accept, OnePass Bridge will deliever your message and you will be able to start a conversation with them.
All communication with other companies is done through the “Connect” section in OnePass Bridge, which includes a set of usefull features:
- Manage your chat requests
- Manage the individual and group chats for you or your company and organize them by pinning or archiving them.
- List the chats you created and the ones that you were assigned to.
- Follow up with the pitches you received (as an investor) or the pitches you sent (as a startup).
Tips
For the search
- Funding needs or Investment Criteria. When filling your company profile, pay special attention to the funding needs (if a startup) or investment criteria (if an investor). These are critical criteria for the recommendations and search results.
- Use the filters wisely. Combine different filters to narrow down your search results effectively. You can use up to 14 different criteria, so think strategically about which ones will yield the best results for your needs.
- Consider the number of hits next to each category of each filter and how it will impact the size of the results lists to add them.
- Save your searches. If you find a search that yields good results, save it for future reference. This allows you to quickly revisit and update your search as needed.
For the follow up
- Use the Watchlist to folllow up companies that match your company profile.
- Use the Lists to track companies that you are interested in but don’t match your profile exactly, but a specific segment or an ad-hoc interest.
- Use the Suggestions at the bottom of each list to populate them with companies that are similar to the ones you have already added to the list. This helps you discover new companies that might be relevant to your interests.
