Change your password
- Log in to your OnePass account.
- Navigate to the “Account Settings” page.
- Click on the “Security” tab.
- Type your active password where requested
- Type twice the new password that you would like to use.
- Hit the “Change password” button at the end of this section.
:::info Keep in mind that the password should have at least 8 characters, including at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one digit and one special character, and be carefull to avoid spelling mistakes when repeating your new password. :::
If you forgot your password, you can also reset it using the “Forgot your password? ” link at the sign-in.
2 Factor authentication
Enaabling the two-step authentication will add an extra layer of security to your account.
To a activate the 2 factor authentication, you have to:
- Log in to your OnePass account.
- Navigate to the “Account Settings” page.
- Click on the “Security” tab.
- Go to the “Two-factor authentication” section and click on the “Setup two-factor authentication” button
- Click the black “Turn on” button to the right of the status of this feature.
- For the second steps, eMail will be activated by default to deliver one-time codes to your primary email but, you can also activate the Autheticator App. For that, click the black set-up button and scan the QR code with the Google Authenticator pp.
- The app will produce a code. Include it under the QR and click on the yellow “Activate” account.
It’s possible to deactivate the two-factor authentication at any point by clicking the “Turn-off” button to the right of the status of this feature (at the upper area of this page).
Linking a Third-Party App
Third-party apps can be linked to your OnePass account to provide additional functionality and integration with other services. However, it’s important to manage these apps carefully to ensure the security of your account. To link a third-party app to your OnePass Hub account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your OnePass account.
- Navigate to the “Account Settings” page.
- Click on the “Security” tab.
- Under the “Third-Party Apps” section, click on the “Link App” button.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to grant the third-party app access to your OnePass Hub account.
- Once the process is complete, the third-party app will be listed under the “Third-Party Apps” section.
Revoking a Third-Party App
To revoke a third-party app’s access to your OnePass Hub account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your OnePass account.
- Navigate to the “Account Settings” page.
- Click on the “Security” tab.
- Under the “Third-Party Apps” section, find the app you wish to revoke access for.
- Click on the “Revoke Access” button next to the app.
- Confirm the action by clicking on “Revoke Access” in the confirmation popup.
By revoking a third-party app’s access to your OnePass Hub account, you ensure that the app can no longer access your account information. It’s important to regularly review the third-party apps linked to your account and revoke access for any that are no longer needed. Linking an Additional IdP
Once you have signed up for OnePass, you may want to link additional identity providers (IdPs) to your account and enable them as login mechanisms. This allows you to sign in using multiple methods, providing flexibility and convenience.
To link an additional IdP to your OnePass account, follow these steps:
- Log in to your OnePass Hub account.
- Navigate to the “Account Settings” page.
- Click on the “Security” tab.
- Under the “Linked Services” section, click on the “Link” button next to the IdP you wish to link.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to grant OnePass Hub access to your IdP account.
- Once the process is complete, the IdP will be listed under the “Linked servicies” section.
You can unlink any of the linked services at any time by clicking the red “Unlink” button that will appear next to each linked service.
